Work out stress
If you are very stressed, a moment on the yoga mat or a short walk can be enough, the main thing is that you spend some time on yourself and your body. It is when we are stressed that we need exercise the most.

Studies show that a little yoga can make us both calmer and happier. Few forms of exercise help us get into the swing of things like yoga.

Walking is another of the easiest forms of exercise we can engage in. Maybe on your way to or from work? While helping your body deal with the stress hormone cortisol, walking also provides good exercise.
A jog at an appropriate pace, preferably with nice music on, helps most people clear their minds, and the repetitive movements help us enter a kind of meditative state. When we run, our bodies also release substances that make us both calmer and happier.
 
Stress settles into the body in different ways and we often get stiff shoulders and neck. Stretching helps to release tension and get back on track and feel calmer.
 
Dancing and moving to music can make us disconnect from everything else for a while. Music itself can also affect how we feel.
