If you have already pickled, juiced and baked and don't have time to take care of all your fruit, or if the fruit has become moldy or worm-damaged, you can recycle it. Several of the country's recycling centers have special containers for fallen fruit.
The fallen fruit placed in these containers is digested and turned into biogas or biofertilizer.
You can also donate your fruit to farmers so it can be food for hungry animals. After hot summers, grazing animals may need a little extra to eat and your fruit can be helpful there. But remember that the fruit should be of food quality before you give it away.
Otherwise, it might be a good idea to offer others to pick your fruit or drop it off at a local must shop that will take care of the fruit and let you pick up your must later.
