Why are you investing in a store when more and more shops are closing and commerce is moving online?
Our idea with the store at Rådmansgatan 88 is that it should be a point of inspiration for both existing customers but perhaps especially for those who are interested in checking out a new brand, says Johan Wiklund, co-founder of the brand. We have many retailers in Stockholm but few have the full range, so if you want to delve deeper into our c/o Gerd series, you will find everything and a little more in our store.
Who do you think will find the store on Rådmansgatan?
I think we will see three different target groups – We have the conscious ones. They don’t care that we are not at a AAA address, but come here because they want to use our products and they need access to the entire series. Then we have everyone who wants to shop online in peace and quiet but who chooses to pick up the products at our store and get a small climate gift as well. Finally, I think many new prospective retailers from all over Sweden will take the opportunity to stop by and take a look at the products when they have a trip to Stockholm. We are barely a quarter of a walk from the T-centralen, says Johan
Will you start treatments?
Not right now soon we will open up to bookings for event evenings and also c/o Gerd Master classes both in our store in Stockholm but also in Jokkmokk. It simply means that you get to learn everything you need to know about organic skincare and how to apply the best routine for yourself says Anna-Lena.
