This year marks ten years since the entrepreneurial couple Maria and Johan Eklund started the boutique hotel Görvänls Slott in Järfälla outside Stockholm. That same year in Jokkmokk, siblings and therapists Anna-Lena Wiklund Rippert and Johan Wiklund decided to pursue their dream of using the herbs and berries of Swedish Lapland and refining them into luxury cosmetics.

At Görvälns Slott we think a lot about what we leave behind, says founder Maria Eklund. - The environment and how we affect it is important to us and we are focusing extra on that during our tenth year. We want to give our guests the opportunity to feel as good as possible during their stay with us and preferably choose ingredients from our local area. We cook and bake bread from scratch. A further step in the feel-good direction is that we now choose the Swedish spa and beauty brand c/o Gerd and their organic line for the skin and hair care products that the hotel offers its guests.

When we developed our exclusive series of ecological amenities for unique hotels, the goal was to attract destinations that have a higher level of ambition. We feel that we have several common denominators where protecting the environment ties our brands together well. c/o Gerd's raw materials are well thought out and packaged in carbon-neutral packaging tubes made from sugar cane material. - We look forward to being part of the guest experience at the boutique hotel Görnväls Slott, says CEO Johan Wiklund c/o Gerd.

Maria Eklund thinks the products are fantastic. - They are healthy and fresh and smell good of nature's own scents. Since they are also organic, it gives a really nice feeling of well-being.
