Products for rosacea

Rosacea is a skin imbalance that often manifests itself through persistent redness, flushed cheeks, visible blood vessels and sometimes small rashes. The skin may feel warm, stinging or tingly and reacts easily to external factors such as weather, stress or strong products.

The cause of rosacea is not fully understood, but it is known that both genetic factors and external triggers play a role. Common factors that can worsen the condition are strong sun, cold, wind, stress, alcohol, spicy food and active skin care ingredients. The skin with rosacea often has a weakened skin barrier, which makes it extra sensitive and reactive.

There is no cure for rosacea, but with the right skincare and lifestyle changes, you can relieve symptoms and reduce flare-ups. A gentle, barrier-strengthening skincare routine with soothing and moisturizing ingredients is the foundation. Avoid harsh exfoliants, drying products, and perfumed formulations. Sun protection is also very important, as UV radiation is a common trigger.

Jojoba ♥ Lingonberry =

true

With rosacea, the skin needs care that soothes, strengthens and protects without irritating. Since the skin barrier is often weakened, it is important to moisturize to reduce tightness and burning, while nourishing the skin to reduce redness and strengthen its resistance.

Jojoba oil is a mild and balancing oil that resembles the skin's own sebum. It helps preserve the skin's natural protective barrier, softens without clogging pores and contributes to a more stable and harmonious skin feel. Thanks to its light texture, it is absorbed well and is also suitable for sensitive skin that reacts easily.

Lingonberry Seed Oil is rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids that strengthen the skin barrier and protect against external aggressors. It has soothing properties that can help reduce redness and discomfort, while nourishing and improving skin elasticity. The oil supports the skin's natural repair process and contributes to a smoother, more balanced skin tone.

Together, jojoba oil and lingonberry seed oil work to soothe, strengthen and moisturize skin with rosacea.

Our best tips

Rosacea skin needs both hydration and balance without clogging pores. It's all about creating a thoughtful routine where every step supports the skin. Here are some of our top tips:

  • A gentle cleanser like Eco Clean Face White Clay helps remove excess sebum and oil. Use in the evening in circular motions all over the face.

  • Use gentle face creams during the day and supplement with oil at night. Lingonberry Clear Cream provides light hydration without feeling greasy, while helping to balance and soothe the skin. If you have extra dry skin, you can combine Pure Jojoba Oil during the day under the cream for extra moisture.

  • Be extra careful with exfoliation. If your skin is very reactive, you can use Eco Facial Scrub as an exfoliating mask without massaging with the grains. This allows the AHA acid to work as a gentle chemical peel and help dissolve and remove dead skin cells without mechanical irritation. Exfoliate your skin no more than twice a week to maintain skin balance and avoid overloading already sensitive skin.
  • The sun is one of the most common triggers for rosacea. UV rays can worsen redness, trigger inflammation, and make blood vessels in the skin more prominent. That’s why daily sun protection is a key part of a rosacea routine – year-round, even on cloudy days. Choose a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 (preferably SPF 50) and apply a generous amount to your face. If you’re going to be outside for a long time, you’ll need to reapply.

  • Be patient. It’s often easier said than done – especially when your skin feels unbalanced and flushed. But remember that your skin works in cycles. It takes about 30 days for skin cells to renew themselves. So give your skin time to adapt. Changing your strategy too often or chasing quick results can create more stress on your skin. Try to be consistent, stick to your routine and only evaluate after a few weeks. Long-term and patience are often one of the most important keys to more balanced skin.

  • Don’t forget your neck and décolleté. These areas are often forgotten, even though the skin there is just as thin and exposed as the skin on your face. They need the same care and nourishment to prevent dryness, fine lines and loss of elasticity. So make sure to apply serum, oil and cream properly there too – and work the products in with gentle, downward movements.
